Introduction

Welcome to the Haptic Planner. By purchasing or registering for the Haptic Planner Device and using the Haptic App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility

The Haptic Planner is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using our products, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Haptic and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Haptic.

All content created within the planner by users, such as tasks, goals, vision, milestones, and notes, remains the intellectual property of the user. We do not claim ownership over any user-generated content.

Warranty

The Haptic Planner Device comes with a 30-day warranty. Returns are accepted within this period for refunds or replacements under the conditions outlined. Warranty is applicable only if there has been no user damage or wear and tear to the device. If there is proof of technical malfunctioning with the planner, a replacement will be swiftly provided.

Account Creation and Deletion

Users can create an account through the Haptic App. Accounts and all associated data can be deleted within the app. For detailed information on data management and deletion, refer to our Privacy Policy.

Account Security

Haptic App uses strong encryption for data at rest and in transit. This includes encrypting the database storing user data and using secure protocols like TLS for data transmission. There are strict access controls implemented to ensure only authorized personnel can access user data. Regular security audits are conducted along with penetration testing to identify and rectify vulnerabilities. Secure coding practices are followed during the development of the app to prevent common vulnerabilities. Third-party service providers and vendors comply with high data security standards.

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Haptic Planner or Companion App in any way that:
• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially or ethnically offensive.
• Facilitates illegal activity.
• Depicts sexually explicit images.
• Promotes unlawful violence.
• Causes damage or injury to any person or property.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your Haotic Planner device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

Modification of Services

We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services for the Haptic App or the Haptic Planner Device (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

If you choose not to install updates, you acknowledge that you may not experience the app's full functionality, and your use may be more vulnerable to security risks.

If you choose to purchase any products or services that we offer for a fee, you agree to pay us the applicable fees and taxes. We may revise the pricing for products and services offered through the Service at any time. You will be informed via email of any such changes to our Subscriptions.

Renewals and Cancellations

Your subscription will continue indefinitely until terminated in accordance with the Terms. If you cancel your subscription, you may use your subscription until the end of your then-current subscription term.

We integrate with AWS, Hubspot for marketing updates, and Shopify for purchasing and website hosting. These services may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion

User data is retained for 5 years or until account deletion. You can request data deletion by deleting your Haptic account or unsubscribing from our marketing emails.

We fully comply with international data protection laws, such as GDPR and CCPA. Users have rights concerning their personal information, detailed in this policy.
